I really enjoyed sirken era P99, at his peak he was communicating with guild leaders about raiding and doing petitions. He created a trust between the staff and raiding. They knew where he stood and he knew where each indivual stood. It's a level of immersion that is difficult to re-create or live up to.

"Current Management" tries, I can't fault them completely. A lot of the veteran raiders, who just will not give up the ghost, just don't have the bond they had with the sirken era.

Like when blistig tells me to focus on real life, knowing nothing about my life. It doesn't bolster a sense of them knowing who their core audience is. It's great when new people come in and the world is mystry and fun. Then they get to raiding and all the veterans are wort covered trolls with neck beards. It's a culture shock for anyone who has not been playing p99 for a decade.

This wont and has not changed over night. This is why I keep pushing for them to ban people like myself and others who don't fit into "current managements" perfect vision for p99. We are not going away otherwise.

Most of them really read "this made me real rustled! Now I'm gonna ego trip!"

Yeah ok just show me why someone else doing it is OK but isn't for me.
