I got a 60 day ban from facebook because of the Capitol Riots BTW, I was told that it was because I live in close proximity to DC (I'm in Virginia, but I could drive to Nashville, Charlotte, Charleston etc. in about half the time it would take me to drive to DC. I don't really consider DC to be even remotely close to me).
I was actually dumbfounded when it happened because I don't really use facebook much at all anymore, and my dad asked me to log onto facebook marketplace since he doesn't know how to use social media. As soon as I logged in I got the message about facebook taking extra precautions/security and banning me due to my close proximity to the DC where the inauguration was taking place.

Now did I vote for Donald Trump? Yes, and I would again because I still have PTSD from getting out of the ARMY during the recession and having to beg for a job at McDonald's. But I had nothing to do with QAnon, and didn't even know about the riots until like a week after they happened because I didn't watch the news. The day of the Riot I actually had made a lot of money on NNDM stock (you can check the date, it literally went up on the same day Trump gave that speech). To celebrate, I was getting drunk at like ... 10AM? Because I held that stock for a long time and had even been in the red, and was finally happy to have made some money. I remember briefly watching Trump's speech, but it was cringe so I alt-tabbed into WoW: Shadowlands, and that was like the last I really heard about anything political for days.
I was genuinely baffled that facebook had labeled me as a domestic terrorist based on literally nothing, and don't feel safe posting pictures or other information about myself on that website for the foreseeable future.
