Tbh, no one really knows what is coming in the next 10 years, let alone 40. We've rapidly accelerated. However most people live inside weirdly localized time bubbles.

Humans lived in a tribe when our IQ was lower and we were primitive. Humans adapted to different societal norms when we began living in personal dwellings and were constructing pre-modern civilizations.

Marriage is already dead/dying. 50% of kids are born to unwed mothers in Western countries. The few that lag will be there soon
