In the context of this video, Paul is no longer having to attempt chose his fate, the one he was trapped in, he's not alone anymore. His son is there to chose now, with the power or ability to do so, without being trapped in his human form. For me it's kind of a round-about way of ascension or apotheosis and ironically resonates deeply with my own story arch even tho I am not a sandworm creature. All the imagery and juxtaposition is synchronous with my life experiences. There is obviously a lot more there, but that is what is on the surface and impersonal. I don't personally have a strong urge want to usurp or ascend or be god. Or live in their image. I just appreciate it. On a deep level. One that brings me comfort. | ||
