There was a custom UI that existed here for years that allowed you to store items in "ghost slots" making them 100% weightless and keeping your bags empty. Fixed after I reported it but there are probably a lot of things you can do that haven't been found yet or go unreported.

Customized ui doesn’t add extra hot bars or create any advantages. Client side preference. Let them live their classic. If you think there weren’t any customized ui’s during classic/kunark you must have been 12 years old playing Paws in Typing Town and screaming when mom made a phone call and caused you to LD at Orc 1.
