It'd be like if some company posted billboards offering free Coke, but please bring some canned food for the homeless ... and when you show up (with homeless food or without) you get given Diet Coke. The Diet Coke was free, and you shouldn't be a dick and throw it back in the company's face or anything ... but even so, it's still legitimate to respectfully talk about the fact that you just got given Diet Coke when you were promised Coke Classic. Even more odd to say as I wasn't asking for any GM interventions. More or less just curious as to the experience of others (pun intended)

Well I got bored and found my old bug post that found the pre-green xp reward for bone chips in Kaladim was about right.
It’s there as a starting point for anyone who would like to make a bug report that the new value is too low. Quote:

Along these same lines...
For 4 CB belts, I got a bit over a yellow, which would be equivalent to about 1.5 stacks of bonechips. 7.5 pp of bone chips or 8pp worth of CB belts. The CB belts give better cash rewards, which would *just* make up the difference in price. Market pricing seems to be working.

At level 11 for a gnome magician it took 80 belts (160pp avg) to get to 12. At level 11 for a gnome magician it takes about 20 stacks of bone chips (80pp avg). You are paying twice as much using belts or pads. 80 belt turn in rewards do not equal more than 100 bone chip turn in rewards. They both vendor about the same.

Your sample size is larger, so you're probably right.

This was within the last month. When was this "nerf"?
I bought bone chips in East Commons for 4pp a stack until someone would wtb for 5pp and I'd match it. It cost WAYYYYYY less than belts, shoulderpads, orc scalps and goblin ears for the same amount of experience. Anyone that pays 15pp each for goblin ears is an idiot. You get more experience from 4 bone chips.

Also anyone that is paying 5pp for lightstones is insane. A greater lightstone costs 15pp or less. You turn it in and get good experience (until about 15 or 16) and a 9-10pp item back so it costs you 5pp. You turn in a lightstone, get wayyyyy less experience and get a 9s item back so it ends up costing the same as a greater lightstone! So 12-16, turn in your greater lightstones, sell your lightstones and either buy more greater lightstones or save the money.
