How does one prove a dream?

It’s possible to look at brain waves during sleep and show someone is within dreaming brainwave activity but..... how does one prove this or that happened in a dream last night?

Some experiences are personal. You know the dream happened. You experienced it. How can you prove what happened?
This reminded me for a bit about one ... very and highly interesting brain/mental condition:

-APHANTASIA

- BBC Article on Aphantasia

It is ... quite daunting to have this condition. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I've been dabbling with magic since April. It's given me a sense of radical openness in addition to nihilistic skepticism. I can entertain any belief because I have the tools to escape that belief.

"Nothing is true. Everything is permitted."

You can get a lot done if you don't believe anything is stopping you. That's magic.

Completely apart from any Magic, this mindset is personally a very powerful one!

Glad you are incorporating it in your mental/thought patterns! +1 [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Magic, whether you call it witchcraft, voodoo, sorcery, etc, and despite the different practices within those schools, is just the concept of doing anything, usually ritualistic to achieve a desired result. Although the result isn't always how you expect kinda like the cliche of wishes from a Genie (Jinnea) backfiring. And the three main components of successful magic is belief, "the energy put into it", and "help" from unseen forces.

So whether or not you're drawing pentagrams in your room with candles or tricking people into giving you money with an illusion, is the essentially the same. And the means of doing so or even how it works is less important than producing results. And it includes "calling on unseen forces" or beings like demons, spirits, elementals, pure consciousness, whatever. Where do you think EQ got its lore from like the mage pets or the Ifriti? Its an actual type of jinn.

But I strongly suggest avoiding magic entirely and to call on God instead and do real work if you want results without "negative" effects. Although you could say that even basic work is a type of magic. But you need nothing else and it will only harm you in the end, sometimes severely.

This guy explains it well: Richard Smoley: Magic and the Occult

And here's some examples of what Jinn sound like, although they vary in type and demeanor. Some of them like to lie alot and mess with us but they have different motives. And multiple of them can reside in people. The new age channelers are using the same phenomena but have no idea what they're letting possess them:

"SON OF IBLEES" - 100,000 YEAR OLD JINN True or False

Abu Ruqya - JAY Z satanic jinn

Ahhh love this particular phrase, so good! Perfect! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Reminds me when the Amazing Randi was called to his face an actual Magician by the sheer power of his will ...

It illustrates the point of people doing stuff, like con artists.

This is highly interesting, specially due to people that use skills like persuasiveness or people able to command others to do things highly opposed to what in a normal situation they would do.

Love all the replies, so much good stuff, ideas, topics! This has been a very interesting thread for me to read during my brief play time and leisure time.

Big hug to everybody! Love all of you!

LOL I’m getting personal attacks in this topic too. For what?

All I did was point out that not everything that exists in this world is provable. That’s a fact. If so, prove to me what happened in your dream last night.

If we accept that not everything is provable, how does one prove that magic isn’t real? You can’t [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yes teppler, no one likes you or the Muslim guy posting about Jinn. The Quran and mean kampf are both used as toilet paper in the Kaveh household
