Correct. I was at #10 about 26 hours ago. I arrived shortly after it dropped. That was the only one in my time here that dropped. They have all been on longer, some of them a few days.

I am wanting to get to the manastone camp. After going to wrong side, made and calmed my way throughout UGuk. A knowledgeable monk told me I needed to get to LGuk Live side instead of dead side.

So, made it there. Tried calming my way down llooking at wiki on LGuk Live side form #A on map, and something saw me that perhaps I did calm. I DAd and ran back to the zone and zoned into UGuk. Then on the other side, they all attacked me there. Is that supposed to happen? I thought once you zoned, you zoned. I know on the other side usually there is 1 pather. Crazy xp loss in 36. I should have maybe waited till 37, but the longer I wait, the longer that list gets.

PS The guy who is position #1 told me he has been there since Sunday. Yes, im insane, but wanna at least try and see how long I can last!

Kudos to you for your determination, it's a good quality to have.

On another note. I know everyone here "hates" pvp. But as much as I see everyone complain about lists and horrible long camps. Would PVP be so much worse than current solution to these legacy items? Really?

I have yet to try the PVP server here. Funny you say that. Just saw DAOC is going to be f2p in the Off Topic section. I played the PVP server (Mordred). I also played on the PVP server in EQ2 for many years, oh how I loved pvp there- and the battlegrounds!!! For some reason, EQ always came across to me as a blue (non pvp) not sure why! But, I haven't tried it. One of these days.. Maybe if there is a bit more of a pop there.

oh man that is some commitment. gonna be goin thru this on my CLR hopefully soon, but i dont plan to list unless im near the top - cant possibly stay at it for longer than 10 hours or so [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yeah, pvp gives a game more meaning and depth.
P99 staff have alluded to opening up a fresh pvp server in the near future. I think it will be a blast with triple digit population for sure.

Uh, I have a friend who has been on the list for 50 hours now. He has moved 6 list spaces forward. Mind you, advancing a list space is more likely due to someone dropping out than a manastone dropping.

Some people have expressed disbelief about people camping it for 26 hours, but multi-day manastone sessions are now the norm.

And by the way, I logged into said friend's character for 2 hours earlier tonight so he could take a nap. He actually woke up before our agreed time, poor guy.

I wish I had gone right when I turned 35, I think the list was like 20 hours avg. But I wasn't feeling my best, and I had it in my mind I really wanted to get the paw quest done.

What was I thinking? (or not thinking). Oh well, my paw gets to be with me throughout this insanity.. I may start talking to it like its my voodoo doll or something...

Same, moved from 10 to (now) 4, only one due to a drop, which was the only drop and now 26.25 hours ago and the rest to those falling asleep/missed AFK's etc.

It is gut wrenching when they realize they fell asleep or missed a check after so long.
