If you buy plat or items, you will eventually get banned. It might not be within a week, but one day you will not be able to log in and all that progress you could have made without the RMT will be lost. I've spent countless hours with Llandris recently tracking down buyers and sellers.

In fairness you can no longer log in at the zoneline for 15 mins to receive pixels. Now you have to press the coth accept button too.
