I don't much like telling someone what she can or can't do with her body.

If I wanted to do so, why stop at abortion? If it's all about the best interest of the child, go the full distance to promote nuclear families and require forced marriage in the case of pregnancies. Sorry dudes, no more knocking gals up only to abandon 'em. Doesn't sound quite like it's all fun and games now, does it? Actions have consequences, after all.

Not that fat-fetched....it's been done before, throughout human history.

the same goes for the other way though, why say that murder is wrong?

Its simple, killing a person, is not legal. Killing a fetus at 9months (even if its in a woman's body) is not legal, why is killing a fetus at 1 month legal?

In fact its LESS slippery slope to just say, "killing a person is illegal" a person becomes a person when sperm meats egg.

WHAT SCIENCE proves that a person is a person after 3 months but not after 1? or 24 hours? or 24 seconds?

I think this is a fair question that deserves a real answer, since people believe in it so much they wear pink hats.

Life is not just sperm, and life is not just the egg, but life is the sperm and egg becoming one.

Its pretty easy to say that is true, as one can be expelled while you sleep, and the other is expelled every month.

HOWEVER the combination of the two is only expelled, as a living person.

So, I honestly think that if you look at abortion objectively, it IS murder.

Presumably you know all about them, so please, explain or tell me what specifically to google.

I just fucking love abortion. Maybe one day we can have fetus flavored starbucks frappucinos.

I love statutory rape but for some reason that's a crime that we don't allow.. Im just trying to get to the bottom of why statutory rape is ok if theyre less than 3 months old.

It's not a matter of science and never could be. The cut-off date will always be an arbitrary value, hence why it never sees agreement and the argument continues forever. In some societies, even relatively recently, it was perfectly legal for parents to kill their children if they felt it was necessary.

I would argue that you, mickold, being unable to perform a simple google search, lack sentience, and, therefore, it would not be murder to dispose of you efficiently.

This post supports my argument

its not an arbitrary value if you say, is sperm with egg? THATS a human. It doesnt matter what the cut-off date was or is now.

Its simple: HAS the sperm fertilized the egg? yes? LIFE no. No life.

if the cut-off date is indeed arbitrary then we should make it illegal, cus we shouldn't determine if a murder is a murder based on arbitrary values.
