Always figured he endgame for nazi germany was mass suicide. It was like a cult of self-loathing that turned on everyone else first because at least then it could serve a purpose, even if that purpose was abhorrent heartless destruction. Here's to losing fingers and thumbs to less impressive explosives than the atom bomb.
