in order to get a tunare fist, aow legs, ST key, primal in CSG, you have to be one of the top/active players in their respective guilds. that amounts to playtime, playing when you probably shouldn't be playing, etc. calling it a 'hobby' at that point is a fine line. balancing EQ with RL historically has rarely panned out well for most people, especially people who play on this niche emulated server.
