I propose that p99 implement some sort of a police ride along program. In return for a donation of some fixed size, the player is scheduled a time slot to have a ride along with Uthgaard for a couple hours on a Friday or Saturday night. Essentially, the player gets to be transported to the site of disputes (and made invisible!), get filled in on the backstory, made privy to the slew of angry tells and petitions, and observe the judgement or punishment that gets rendered. I feel like the entertainment value of this would be worth every penny.
Server chat tonight should give you just a small taste of what petitions are like.

mandatory beta is like before the server launched. A period of time in which the server is only available for testing...

except this time its just 24 hours and not a year. Go test.

I see a lot more complaining about people complaining than people actually complaining about the beta. And yeah, I guess this post is complaining about complaining too.

Well, the only problem with this beta is the timing...Why on friday night? i work all week and i look forward to staying up till all hours of the morning because i dont have to work. Why cant they do the beta on monday night. or sunday for that matter. It makes ZERO sense.

What I heard:

"Why can't they do beta on a night that I wouldn't be playing anyways?"

It's EXACTLY for that reason that we're doing it now.

IMO, leave live down till kunark is ready. That's right. Bring on the flames and make my night.

Best idea since "get rid of rotation."
