My guess:

Game has become even more top heavy. The increase in demand for the top end drops has not been matched by an increase in supply, and the decreased demand for the mid to low end drops has been met with an increase in supply farmed by the higher level server population. Therefore, prices are going down for most everything but your AoN's, Flayed Barbarian Skin Leggings, Coldain Ring 9 MQ's, etc. There has been years and years of plat farming on this server; the nerf to sea furies is a drop in the plat pool of the overall economy.
