OP was working from home today. He used 1 monitor to display the Everquest Project 1999 Blue Server upon which he, on occasion, murdered and consumed the nutrients (loot) of brave Deputy Hobbits. On the other two monitors, he coded diligently. You can check his bank account and see the numbers there attest to the quality of work he rendered today. I hope this helps clear it up for your records.

Apart from that, I have no dog in this fight. Bored people using the auction website scroll have been known to kill DE guards in Nektulos for spare bronze sword plat that were far above their level, etc. No one gives two shits. The player described as being sad that you were killing halfling guards could go kill guards in Misty Thicket or go kill guards in West Karana at the towers, or grow some balls and kill solo in a dungeon for the exp bonus and move on.

I simple friendly tell goes a long way. More times than not you can get high level players to leave you a low level farm spot if you want to exp there by being nice. If someone goes to ooc right away and throws a hissy fit I will tell them to fuck their father in the shower and grab a snack.

That being said, this is almost as bad as the half AFK 50+ levels who sit in EC on the Orc camps to farm Deathfist Slashed Belts while lvl 6-10s in cloth armor have nothing but crappy spiders, Pumas, and lions to kill for XP. Can you really not find less accessible cash camps to farm for plats? [You must be logged in to view images. I just find it douchey killing vastly underconned mobs in a noob zone for plats, and I never do it personally even if it is allowed "by the rules." Anytime someone uses "it's allowed under the rules" as a defense typically knows what they are doing is douchey. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

That being said, I personally have had contentious convos when approaching high levels farming the belts when I was on my lowbies and can see why Darkfae reacted aggressively. I wouldn't be surprised if he tried the "nice" approach in the past and was told "it's in the rules I'm allowed to farm here get lost nub." Not justifying or condoning his supposed behavior, I am just saying I can empathize with his frustration. I personally don't hold low level camps hostage for plats with my high levels particularly in high population zones or zones that are easily accessed and played in by lowbies. That's just me.

Not a very good RNF thread, but OP doesn't seem ill-mannered in the least bit.
Darkfae will have a blackspot on him from this day forward TBH.
