Strange. Looking at the log, I'd hazard a guess that the GM in question looked up the mob in question for the appropriate time related to the petition, and looked to see the flags for last target that picked up initial aggro and the time stamp, and the person granted ownership of the corpse with the killing damage. Considering the age of this server, the raid scene being what it is, and the sheer volume of bullshit that they've had to wade through, all of the above is probably a part of their logs.
The issue I'm seeing here is the entire "did the players attempt to resolve this issue themselves" portion was skipped in the review, possibly. Did you attempt to speak with Slowdiver? Did Slowdiver make an attempt to speak with you? Because if the chat logs for both of your characters showed no attempt with tells, OOC, or anything, it paints a picture that Slowdiver said "fuckit" and went for the Petition as the first tool for resolving it. Which goes entirely against what the staff states they'd prefer players to do. If NOTHING has been hidden from this involving the log, then you got screwed hardcore. | ||
