I was on..tried to switch characters and instead of logging out to char select it dumped me to to login page and now I can't log in. If you are reading this and still logged into the game..don't switch characters!

Someone tinkering with an open source eq client accidentally DoS'd the login server while learning the ropes of eq's networking protocol.

He apologizes and is setting up his own local login server for future testing as we speak.
