There was an earthquake on Thanksgiving morning, yet Gloradin didn't spawn at the usual (2pm EST) time today...?

I thought an 823 was going to yield a win this time. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Earthquakes also reset timers for Scout/Ring roll ( just not raid mobs). Dungeons, rare outdoor spawns and basically anything that A/A arnt intensely poopsocking week in and out will have timers reset on hard resets and earthquakes. Scout/Ring Roll are some of the more common, but Sentry Bedain etc all respawn and have timer reset.

the timer for this would be sometime between 5-7 am whenever it was turned in after the quake

Well, shit all over my back.

Instead of just saying "hard reset and earthquakes both reset timers," clarifying "( non earthquake )" in your post made it seem explicit to "hard reset."

Serious question:

What was the intent of the "roll winner must be the one turning in the Marching Orders" rule anyway?

I realize that, without this rule, people would have 50+ members of the guild all randoming for one person....but that's the way it is now anyway. It takes, what, 3-5 hours to get a new Marching Orders, but you can only get one Gloradin every 24 hours? People get Marching Orders on 3 characters just to roll for the one character they intend to get the ring...

I've lost ring rolls to a multitude of people that are already wearing the the 10th ring AND the 9th ring, then "WTS 8th Ring Loot rights - my orders -> your loots / 8th Ring" (always Awakened, side note). I thought the rule was implemented to combat this exact practice.

P.S. I also realize that this rule was lobbied for by many that have long since gotten their ring(s) and, therefore, don't give a shit what happens anymore, but what's right is right.
