Lower level characters should always yield to higher-level and more established players. These players have been on the server longer and are directly responsible for the success of the server and the proliferation and availability of loot to lower-level toons. Honestly, there should be a movement to empower those who maintain the server economy instead of promoting pixel welfare and easy-mode EQ.
I hope you're joking. That kind of attitude will prevent new people from wanting to invest hundreds or thousands of hours into an MMO game that is nearly two decades old. Elitism is strong here.

Availability of loot? That mostly they can't afford until their Main is maxed? Damn I got Triggered.

Totally worth it.

Yeah there are quite a few here that make it their mission to get folks riled up. You'll learn who they are, since most of the time they want to see the reactions to their controversial posts. It's entertaining to them, and hell, even me as well sometimes. It's called ForumQuest for a reason.

But I'll bite and take it up a notch. All players that kill non-experience giving mobs in the game should be banned on the first kill. Shit's classic.

I hope others see the the irony/hypocrisy of this post. =D

If you are suggesting that there is a highly vocal minority of players, most of whom do not even play P99 anymore, that highjack these boards/threads to further their own nefarious ends of internet trolling....well I would FITE IRL someone who made that type of claim.

I've been known to camp the ghost on my 60 Warrior to get some jagged bands and/or dwarven work boots to hand out to people in unrest. Players who are in the level 20-30 range still wearing cloth and patchwork, as I know they're actively playing said toon.

Don't like giving our gear in EC for this reason, for example.

'Availability of loot'. To be honest, on live people would be using absolutely rubbish weapons and might not see things like Green Jade Broadswords till their 40s.

On p99, spend levels 1-4 killing skeletons, bears and spiders and you'll have that before level 5.

Once you surpass your 40s you can go out and earn your own loot without the need to buy it.

There's an implied "the way you play is dumb" in almost everything any of us says isn't there?
