Why is Sceptre of Desctruction so overpriced ?

Things are worth what people will pay for them. Period. Any other definition of worth is subjective.
If you are surprised that selfishness is still powerful here, you might want to consider that selfishness is everywhere and will never change. Plus, I'm sure you think of it as only a bad thing, but selfishness actually has brought more good to the world than anything else. Wanting, or in the worst case forcing, people to do 'unselfish' things so that other people can get what they want is evil in most cases.

If you're going to be a turd in the punch bowl you should be the biggest turd.

- SoD and Salindrite both don't drop anymore.
- Both have awesome melee ratio 12/18 and 13/18 and both have crazy proc dd/stun.
- They are worth whatever someone wants to offer but at the same time there's no real reason to ever get rid of it for any amount of plat.

It's the best agro weapon

There's only about a dozen on the server, 0 of which are actually for sale

It's tradeable and one of the most iconic items in classic EQ

It comes from a Warder in Sleepers Tomb

Platinum isn't amazing, owning a SoD is. Even if offered 100million, Id rather own a SoD. Platinum is just platinum, having millions of platinum isn't all that thrilling.
