The above is nothing but clouding the truth even further. Its a subtle exoneration of the media under the guise of conservatism.

You can find some truth even in the mainstream media, but that doesn't mean someone is wrong to distrust them. It means you keep your objectivity, look up the supposed fact, and then discard the rest.
