PS. I wish I could hear what swish is saying if he's reading this thread.
People miss you man! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I remember when I started playing Project 1999 seriously. I saw swish running across oasis of marr and I was blown away that I saw him in game!

Swish is like 1 of the 5ish posters on these boards I actually like. Sad to see him banned...I like his posts for the most part.

4. Use hatespeech or racial epithets to attack another player. (I shouldn't have to say this but some of you are just flat out stupid)
All of these will result in bans of varying lengths.

He posted rules a lot, he knew better.

A break is exactly what he needed, he lost control.
I Challenge you to look over the past week of threads and count the number of rules broken...
I'll bet it's over 100 easily.

This touches on exactly what is mentioned on page 1 of this thread. The strange selective punishing that can happen at sudden.
I hate to be this guy but I think we're facing a developing issue that has stagnated it way since the daybreak thing. Some things slip through the cracks while others are instantly pounced upon. The louder you are the faster it happens.

I know swish was an active poster so just by that he was 'loud'. He could have fallen through the cracks like so many others. People are going to like you or dislike you when you're active in a community. I do not believe though that his popularity in any form weighed in on his banning.

I believe it was just another sporadic judgement call. Even kings can be wrong.
This is why I am standing up and asking nicely that he be unbanned. Sooner then later. Doesn't matter if it was a temp ban. I believe in talking before striking someone down.
Also I want to make it clear that I do not speak for swish. I only think of him as a friend and think he deserves better then what happened.

I love how the main defense of Swish is "other people do similar things and don't get banned". It's a kindergartener's defense. "They do it too!"

He got banned because he deserved it. Other people are not banned but still deserve it. Too bad nobody's getting paid to moderate this shit, huh?

do you really think 'lol safe space' is applicable in the case of actual fascism?

The Chardok Syndicate got Swish banned.

He was getting to close to exposing their laundering schemes.

That's my thought on it too. Anyone that has done something they know wasn't right, and then suffer consequences because of it should man up and admit it was dumb and just wait the punishment out.

When you get caught doing something stupid and then punished for it, a responsible person doesn't say, "but, John and Mike did it too, and they aren't punished!"

Basically the world isn't fair, never will be fair. Some get away with stuff, others do not? Welcome to reality.

Deal with it bro.
