Once this server cools down a bit and the variance quest competition is over, I'm hoping to put together an all-Monk Avatar of War kill using Whirlwind. Assuming 65 dps per monk and 8 seconds per whirlwind, we can solve rather easily (N * 65 * 8) * N = 1M HP -> N = 45 monks required. Your equation works for 45 boxed monks automated by MQ2... But to account for real world factors you need a safety factor. Combat regen, Latency on next monk in chain, missed chain pickup, deaths to ripostes.

I'd say at a minimum you'd want a safety factor of 2.0. Atleast 90 monks would be required I think.

Even at safety factor 4.0 you would still fail I bet, no one would know who was going to get agro next and AoW would end up one rounding 75% of the raid before they could disc

not impressed, i've seen better monks with lesser gear like my friend of mine... aka Ginix <Taken> (Jsin's monk)

it's usually the incompetent ones like this Raev guy who try to "overachieve" and "gloat" about how "good" they are by posting nonsense threads like this that screams "I want attention!" like a facebook hoe. tisk, tisk.

Raev isn't a bad monk at all. He's just very... opinionated.
