i don't recall anyone of importance saying that, but i don't read every single post/thread so its possible I missed it. If it was some random empire person given that we had over 100+ people playing although not always at the same times I understand why someone who had not been to sleepers or got a ton of loot would think its stupid. killing the sleeper, dunno if thats even possible but i do recall servers trying to gangbang him repeatedly with tons of deaths.

either way I am pretty sure colgate, gongshow etc always had the plan to wake the sleeper when they felt velious was done for them or the majority of that crew. it denies the opposition and certain people from ever getting those unique items. It is a win for them, and hurts far worse then 100 yellow texts. What better way for the ultimate iwin could they have done? just imagine if vulak dropped more abashi's, enough that most of the monks had one, maybe even a necro that was heavy into pvp, shit would be game changing. Anyone who had the chance to pvp alongside a abashi rapture knew how GG it was. stripping people without breaking rapture/root etc oh god so goog. obv abashi still possible to get, but still rare, and no idea how long until tempest or another guild will be downing him.

i like how empire was basically calling the blue guild who woke the sleeper faggots for doing so only to copy them some months later. that being said, i dont even think waking the sleeper is a big deal. now killing the sleeper might be brag worthy.
