To expand upon Sidelle's thoughts - the next President will likely nominate 3 new SCOTUS Justices. I'd like to echo the wise words of Sidelle - "There is no chance in hell that Roe v. Wade will ever be overturned."

Thank you and god bless America.

Through executive orders, oh heck yeah! They have given the president way way too much power, that needs to stop.
As Reagan said, there is no left or right, only up or down.
We've never been so down.

Well became a thing during the 20th century, but hardly used the first 100 years. I wasn't saying they didn't exist before Bush. But the usage today is more along the lines of things that no one wants, snowballs chance in hell to get passed through congress, and even using it to over ride a vote from congress in which it had already been killed. I have no problem with if the usage is used properly, but to use it abusively is wrong, and sinking into a form of dictatorship, a power grab. Case in point: President 0bama abusing executive powers.

Early usage, presidents rarely used executive orders, quite rarely

George Washington 8
John Adams 1
Thomas Jefferson 4
James Madison 1
James Monroe 1
John Quincy Adams 3
Andrew Jackson 12
Martin van Buren 10
William Henry Harrison 0
John Tyler 17
James K. Polk 18
Zachary Taylor 5
Millard Fillmore 12
Franklin Pierce 35
James Buchanan 16

Up or down, that's some Glenn Beck tutoring there.

Were not DOWN = ultimate freedom and anarchy

We're UP = much closer to totalitarian/authoritarian

It's the purpose of congress to make the laws, not the president by executive order. And when a law is vetoed by congress, it's not the act of executive order to implement that law. The use of executive orders is as such to say render relief to a storm ravaged region of our country, not to usurp the purpose of congress and implement or strike down/impede laws. An example:

But two things executive orders cannot do: They cannot make law, and they cannot stop laws from being carried out. This is where Obama is taking what may be unprecedented steps in violation of the Constitution.

And that's exactly what Donald was talking about, not to use executive orders to manipulate law, not to make or break them. This is why whatever name of that guy... I think on cnn interview weeks back, saying the "constitution wont let you", and Donald said "we'll see", referring to the border situation. It doesn't take a law to build even the dam great wall of Chine across the southern border. Then as far as for the rest, he may need support of congress, as far as anything pertaining to laws that are needed. But, from what I understand, just enforcing the damn existing laws already in the books, which are absolutely not enforced, will likely take care of that problem.

uh just no, no! that's from Reagan's speech that I already linked to a few days ago and you obviously didn't bother. Obvious you have only heard that from Beck, but it's actually here (not that you'll bother), not your Beck.

I'm just pointing out that's a Beck Talking point bro. For someone who hates Beck you sure do agree with him a lot. Whether your aware of it or not. Furthermore the Up/Down analogy didn't originate with Reagan who in that speech applied it wrong. It originated far before Reagan with Patrick Henry and the Virginia Resolves.
