pgerman is right in the fact that the collective man's mine is easily manipulated:
patriotism is a very, very, very bad form of manipulation because it eliminates the individuals need to think for himself/herself. i.e. gun rights is a huge one based on patriotism; literally the USA from memory is the 6th highest rated in the word for gun violence and by fare the highest if not collectively beating the rest of the 1st world in gun violence, however, gun lobbyist use patriotism to their advantage. now patriotism + military power is a bad combination. | ||
