I think the p99 pvp server should be a conglomerate of the best features of all servers. Item loot (per era?), teams, racial faction loss, fv. Could do a lot of interesting things.

The most interesting and amazing part of Sullon Zek is that it had no pvp level range. I vividly recall sitting on the Oasis dock with a bunch of other noobish neutrals when a powerful evil wizard zoomed up and literally rained death on us. I imagined people screaming, dying in flames. It was amazing.

agreed, while not a personal fan of teams, it'd probably be the most successful ruleset

it would be nice to see item loot implemented without the possibility of bagging things and hiding behind unlootable, crazy no drop gear

would need a real spot on classic resist system, though

Would be awesome if there was a public flogging/summoning/execution from a GM and then strip the character naked and flag them for PVP damage but make it so they can't attack back. Make the PVP death = XP death.

What about a custom zone, sort of a crypt of cheaters, after some initial time period to allow for appeals, we can have the public execution...then the highest lvl / most played character's corpse from the banned account (presumably the one executed) will have their corpse put on display with some kind of indication of why they were banned...at least a section on the forums that lists all characters from accounts banned for cheating....
