I am not going to judge OP over this thread but I am going to say it is a very far reach to try and make the comparison they did. It is also not an appropriate comparison. Gamers of any gender(s) to a Woman who was a Soviet Sniper?

The OP wasn't making a comparison just stating a fact that the two are not mutually exclusive. Being a gamer is not exclusive of the female gender or the unemployed stereotype. Lot's of people are gamers from all walks of real life.

Ok then I misread what I quoted from Maerilith above if that is the case. I don't see anyone stating that women haven't accomplished a lot in society and history. Nor is anyone saying that only men play online games though that was a joke from another time back in the early years of Everquest and World of Warcraft.

Netflix the mini-series Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. Great mini-series if you liked Spartacus season 1 but didn't like season 2.

Gods of the Arena is like a "what if" season 2 didn't suck and go in the wrong direction. Only like 6 episodes for the ADD inclined.
