Default Pimp my toon event

I do item give aways ever so often. Instead of farming items like I used to, ill be crafting a set of armor and give it to a deserving newbie. First up is a high elf/wood elf paladin/cleric/warrior. I have a set of imbued mithril plate ready for adventure. All you need to do is tell me why you deserve it more than anyone else in this thread. Ill make my decision this Saturday.
This is for newer people to EQ. if you have 5 bazillion posts ill ignore you.

Hi there :3 I thought I would bite. I have been playing on p99 for a about a month and have a few characters around the early teens. I've had a ton of interest in sticking with a tank class to 60 and paladin fits that bill perfectly for me. I know a big barrier in the melee classes in access to equipment, so this would be entirely amazing to have a great set of armor, and I could definitely sell a lot of my other stuff to get some starting weapons.

I've mostly been trying out INT and WIS casters, but really dislike not being able to take hits at all. I like the concept of paladin, and even though they are not the best possible tank, its always been a dream to SOMEDAY level one up and get a Soulfire (good luck right?)

I hate playing solo. It is the fastest way to get bored, and I have a blast pulling/tanking for people.

As to why I deserve it the most? I cant really argue that much for myself, but I have tried to be a courteous player since the start. People were very kind to me, and I really try to pay that back by giving away anything extra I am no longer using to other people just starting out. I don't have anything high enough to farm or buff people, but I really try to be friendly and keep a great attitude. I would definitely continue that attitude.

I also have a good 5-8 hours a day to grind away with. It would be great to do a little report every breakthrough.

I would probably cry over pixils if I was chosen. ;w; Thanks for the consideration and I hope I win ;w;

there is a lack of high end paladins on the server so im pulling for you to hang in there. cant tell you how many times pally loot rots on raids. ive never done the pally epic, but I think any mid lvl guild can get it done. lots of great guild choices on the server willing to help.

I figured I should just go for it regardless. Was having a blast until Chad the Orc decided to be impossible to hit. Have a decent bronze setup and I figured my int guys don't really need gear anyway >:3

Well, my character is a bastard child between a high elf and a human, so maybe he's out of the running (typical), but I'm having a great time with my Half Elf Paladin of Tunare thus far.

I don't really solo, mostly because I see this as a social game first and foremost, but I'm starting to notice a certain problem. My Used Gold Training Shirt*, which while being obviously superior in many ways due to the inclusion of an asterisk in its name, just isn't cutting it against orc legionaries.

Someone did give me a small ringmail tunic the other day, but my hips, or maybe shoulders (rawr), are a bit too wide for it, so I ended up giving it to a nice warrior I met.

Anyways, it'd be super cool if you decided to give it to me. I can guarantee that if I ever get something better (yeah right, maybe at level 50), I'd donate it in a similar fashion. Maybe it could become a hereditary piece, passed down from generation to generation of Half Elf Paladins. Do crafted pieces happen to have a makers mark on them? That'd be super cool.

Feels so good to Yaulp. Enjoying this class a ton (buying a weapon helped) my other guys are naked but I feel like a bronze armored champ and have been tearing through orcs >:3tt77 (highsteppin)

Definitely plan on sticking with Paladin regardless of getting armor >:3. I'll probably update again if I hit a milestone. Figured getting spells was up dere

Half elves can use the armor too.
Wonder where all the HE clerics and wood elf warriors are?

Friendly bump to get some other people interested if they are missing this special opportunity to be proud of your high elf heritage instead of the constant shame ;w;

Also saying, legos up front, centaurs go for the back
