I read every post in this thread.
I tend to agree with some of the points here with the exception of the OP who is definitely the whiner who continuously cries about his surname like it matters to anyone but him. I think a lot of the issues between the 2 servers are due to ignorance where someone plays on a server for a day or 2 has a bad experience or even just reads the forums and automatically forms an opinion that they see based on fact. I don't think either player base is really trying to force their views on the other server beyond the trolls like OP. They just want to try and help each server. Red really needs an infusion of new blood and honestly Blue could stand to lose some of the more aggressive players to an environment that encourages that aggression. The main difference unless something is changed on Blue is that 100% of the populace on Red can interact through /ooc where as on Blue you only have to worry about the tools in your own zone. /shrug love it or hate it matters not to most here. It is all about the next desperate cry for attention. OP we await another plea for your surname always entertaining.

I think it's a different dynamic than WoW because you generally played WoW for the pvp. The pve was never very engaging, except maybe at the beginning of vanilla and close to the level cap, when people were still struggling for the blue dungeon sets, and places like Stratholme and Scholomance hadn't been nerfed. (Let's not speak of Molten Core, which was a boring raid instance in a long tradition of boring raid instances.) I loved on wow when I had to fight some opposite faction guy for the rights to a gathering node, or when I bumped into some red named dude in the middle of a boring quest series. Because the open world pve especially was incredibly dull - a bunch of single player content with super easy mobs and mindless quest grinds. I played blue eq, and red wow. I even left a blue server on wow to go red, and did not look back; rolled on several red servers after that. Wow pvp is just better, a lot better, and the open world pvp was engaging and fun. So I don't think these comparisons are particularly valid. The top end raid scene may well be a clusterfuck here on blue, iono, ain't got time for that. But it's not anywhere close to a dumpster fire from 1-59. I'm having more fun on here than I did on live, because I selected a good grouping class this time. And I enjoy exploring dungeons with my group and not having to worry about random pvpers wrecking me while I'm doing something on the bubble of my abilities. tl;dr: eq was made for pve, wow for pvp, so comparing the two games is kinda silly.

Some of you red conspiratards have inspired a short story out of me. I present you...
THE STATE VS PROJECT 1999 RED By Tekilya Wu'Tang The defendants lawyer, Johnny Law, sat in the courtroom awaiting his turn to speak. The trail had begun more than 4 years and closing arguments were about to take place. Ok Johnny, its your time to shine, this kid paid you a lot of money to get him off, Johnny thought The judge nodded to Johnny, indicating that it was his turn to speak. “Ladies and gentleman of the jury. As we near the end of this trial, I implore you to keep your mind to its purpose. This young man (red server) never stood a chance. His parents neglected him emotionally as a child, he has mental development issues, he was put in a no win situation, his dog was killed by police officers, anyone would have reacted the same way he did ! Please show mercy to this poor, mistreated, misunderstood man.” Nailed it, Johnny thought to himself as he smirked at the prosecutor and returned to his seat. The judge, stern faced as ever, nodded towards the prosecutor that it was his turn. “Ladies and gentleman of the jury. This man kidnapped a mother of 5, skinned her body and dismembered her face in order to make a suit and mask out of the flesh. He then returned to her house 2 week later to murder her remaining family members and children WHILE wearing the flesh suit. The defendant tied the children up and made them play house with him for hours before he finally slit their throats. This was on the eve of the poor mothers funeral. The prosecution seeks the death penalty.” Ahh shit Johnny thought has he lowered his head into his hands I forgot about the suit...

The reason anyone comes to Project 1999 at all is to try to recapture the essence of classic Everquest.
I don't know if anybody noticed, but Red is not classic.

Spyder should recuse himself from this as he has already been caught committing perjury. I present the evidence.
http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=229516 http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=229952 http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=229873 http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=229893 http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=229712 http://www.project1999.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=229249 Now I can appreciate and respect imagination as much as the next person but there is clearly a pattern of instability when it comes to your obsession over a surname. I do believe all of these were started within the last 2-3 weeks which shows a downward spiral that fits the 3rd stage of obsessive personality.(having trouble remembering the exact term) Oh and this was just scanning the first 3 pages of Blue RNF this wasn't looking at your posting history or having access to in game or forum petitions.
