Tell that to the world's greatest empire before the US, England. Wars destroyed the worlds largest and most prosperous empire (India, Caribbean conflicts, WW1, WW2) which eventually lead to USA taking over that role and now wars are bankrupting us the same way. Just look at our military spending while facing all these glaring economic problems.

Huge PR nightmare for Trump now. Saying handle it and inciting violence at his own rally... Yikes.

Now if someone was just roughed up, no big deal. But that white guy disregarded criminal law, commited hateful aggravated felony assault and Trump consigned it and promoted it. Not very presidential. The optics are not great here. Kicking has very hateful emotional implications behind the act. This looks very hateful.

This could sink him. I promise I won't be kicked by black men and women if I scream all lives matter as a white guy at a Sanders rally, black culture tends to get an education on the real world and knows you can't kick people unless you want to upgrade from a misdemeanor.

I was knocked unconscious and hit with 20 shots by five guys in a mugging, guess what? None of them kicked me or even thought about it. They took some jewelry. Point is, kicking is very serious and aggravated battery, even street thugs know this.

Absolutely. Being a shut in is no way to live life either.

These were regular guy-next-door Suburban thugs from 300k-450k homes who grew up on rap music and a street italian mafia mentality, and went to State college with me (found out later, they also hold bachelors degrees). Normal human behavior (being facetious, but it is true, any group of young men can behave this way), how do you avoid something when it can be found in all socioeconomic classes and scenarios? Avoid places where alcohol is being consumed? Ok, but that seems like the guy who refuses to fly since 9/11. 1% should dictate behavior?

Anyone can have anything happen at any time.

So whaddya say, big man? I think the point was there were no feet involved despite the criminal intent. These Trump guys are proving to be the KKK rally everyone talked about. And I used to be a Trump guy.

While Trump acted as master of ceremony, incited the crowd, and then defended the behavior as a rough up.

He may as well have said "Kick his fucking ass!" because that is the amount of negligence he had on display here. Obama, Hillary, Bernie, McCain, Kerry, fuck anyone, would have said hey help, security, please stop that nonsense. Trump is looking like a corporate shark thug in a suit.
