Swish, go to the Pinball Hall of Fame! Best place in Vegas. Jerry used to go there to afterparty every night after his Caesar's shows, but it's actually very affordable.
The things I'd do if I had a car! It's quite a walk from the strip, and I'm a big fan of walking places... but to do both ways plus the walk back up the strip to Stratosphere would be asking a lot of my feet. Looks like a good place from its site though, and I do love me some pinball so I'll see if I can get down there in a taxi from Excalibur or something [You must be logged in to view images. Was in Circus Circus last night and stumbled by chance upon an arcade area they have... among old classics like Pacman were some classics I grew up with like Street Fighter Alpha 3, MVC2 etc etc. Tons of enjoyment for under $5, watched this 7-8 year old girl playing SFA3 with her mother - one did the joystick and the other mashed the buttons, worked pretty well lol.

Also, I went to a Walmart in America for the first time in 7-8 years today. You guys have some good shit, no wonder so many people are fat here. Why buy 3 donuts at 58 cents each when you can get a dozen for $4.50? (apart from health reasons of course).

Going to be pulling some extra time in the gym when I get home for sure [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] lol

What differences did you notice other than cheap donuts?

A lot of people with mental health issues, that was weird to see...don't get that much in England at least. The cashier has a bag carousel thing and packs for you, nice idea.

The Walmart was in a bigger parking lot that had other things in it...went into some sports store as my bag is about 10 years old and needs replacing. Couldnt find a good one but retail workers are friendlier and more direct with you than their English equivalents [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Cars don't give a shit in the parking lot, you walk where they wanna go you'd better start running lol.

welp, I'm flying back today - gonna be a shorter journey than the flight over so that's good (less time waiting for a connecting flight etc)...

Vegas has been great... made it into every strip casino, went to Fremont Street, the mob museum. Played a lot of blackjack, said I wouldn't do roulette but it has been my biggest earner, and I know slots are bad but there were a couple of good machines that paid out, one dished out $115 for your old pal.

Last night I was teaching a Japanese guy to play blackjack. The dealer wasn't cutting him any breaks when he sat down, played a hand, and said "what game is this? how do we win?"... he was hitting on 18 and she didn't question it or try and stop him (most will advise you at least).

Had lots of food, most of it bad food. I see why Americans get fat. Will be down the gym seeing if I can still do the same run speed/time that I was doing before I came out here [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Best of all though I met some great people...including players, dealers, and even the local beggars/drunks/angry drivers on my adventures and had a great time. Would love to come back again for a 3rd stint.

Wish me a safe flight home below, and onwards to January when I can emigrate [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] <3

So I read a Swish praise thread, and now you've said you're flying home, all I can imagine is this:
