Sadly it doesnt matter if we like it, as long as the current fan base likes it. I think the sun is setting on WoW so its a curious time to do it, 2006-2007 would have been a bigger draw.

Its been in development hell, lack of venture capitalist investors, story writers, directors, etc.

Not sure how the funding ended up happening either.

oh god if a wow movie came out back then. The amount of sunlight i wouldn't have gotten from playing WoW even more....

muh thinly veiled racial allegory about big dark skinned straw hut people with dicks rumored to be larger than the light skinned small (but very adept with technology gunpowder & magic) brick and library civilization people they oppose. but deep down they are both good inside because we are all created equal, and they learn to coexist and integrate. also the dark ones are inexplicably able to fight back unlike IRL
