They've said they will have a PvP server. They actually want to have an array of different rulesets, but that it will all depend on the popularity nearing launch.

Direlord seems to be like SK. Each class will have 2 specializations though, you can look some of them up in the class forums.

There does not seem to be a necro. Summoner will have 2 specs also, but both do not look like necro.

Save something for an expansion eh? If they basically clone today's EQ1 they'll have nothing left to keep the game feeling fresh in 2018-2020.

No complaints with the screenshots. Overall quality of the terrain was very similar to stock Skyrim, and that game ran stupidly well on a broad range of systems. I'm not sure about how I feel with the classes being a near direct port from EQ in terms of theme.

EQ Next is going to a miserable flop for Sony that will generate less news than folks will expect, due to the dying genre.
