Part of the appeal to p1999 is that is hard. Some stuff you will never be able to do alone. The people are what we mostly come here for. the server population and active guilds should make boxing unnecessary for someone who is motivated. besides it would get abused more than a red headed step child.

The people who most vehemently hate boxing are the people who would not get groups because people are no longer forced to group with them to get things done. A lot of groups come out of gritting your teeth and dealing with someone you have no interest in grouping with.
I loved boxing on live and Mac server, but both of those allowed for boxing to work well. It wouldn't work well here. Boxing on a server with very limited content, no instancing, and free unlimited accounts is the problem. 1 boxer being able to hold down 4-5 high value camps in 4-5 different zones ends up being a problem on a server with just 3 expansions.

I box due to limited play time.
I box because I don't like grouping with morons. I box because EQ is not a chat room. I play on takp, and have been using my experiences to improve mechanics and the play experience. Something p99 is missing out on, since I cannot box, and I don't have patience for grouping. H | ||

There are lots of places for boxers to go play EQ the way they want. Why do you need to box here? I like groups and I have no interest in being forced into playing multiple characters at once to compete.
