Jeremy, did you ever consider implementing ELO? I think it would give vastly superior results. The biggest problem with your system is that new players are worth 5.0, so killing some naked scrub in MM is worth 0.5, allowing someone to obtain infinite points. With ELO, you would be capped at ~800+noobscore and with provisional rating, once a noob died 1-2x they would probably be worth nothing at all.
