Max and Lite gotta go, they had their chance and we saw the hand they've played... time and time again

I'm find myself putting my chips on Strydur these days, especially if a few other capable lieutenants join his side

I do want competition, as the uncontested kills are starting to give way to waning interest in playing for many of my AIM pals

There are more than enough players online to fight Empire at all hours of the day, what you need is someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves and take these people out of Crushbone and get them organized and caught up with planar clears, epics and resist gear. It's not rocket science and Strydur when he plays seems to have the dedication and play time... along with a crew that could return and bring back a lot of the old Nilly power without the ultra corrupt.

When Azrael was fucking my pals in fear, that's the first thing I said we had to do and something I went straight to work doing

I've rolled back my Crushbone/Unrest PLing initiatives and coaching in hopes someone else would and formed up a new underdog

If you looked at the way things were playing out, there is basically no way Holo should have been able to take its advisor robe and bronze pals to the top to even get 50% of the mobs

Granted we had out of the box amazing leadership that didn't have to learn too much about the game, but the #'s they were running and the gear disparity was very much there

I'd challenge the people forming the resistance to look at helping others up and gearing them as actually helping themselves. That is to say more like beefing up the units you command in an RTS rather than just demanding people do better or join you to help you get pixels without helping them get to that point first and continuing to help them after. Just know up front that it takes a ton of dedication and 45% of the people you help won't be able to keep up with the pace and quit, but the ones that stick around will be extremely loyal to you if you are to them... and its very worth it for all parties involved. I personally have little to show for my efforts plat-wise and alt-wise if you look in my characters banks considering the play time I've put in, but you will also find I am very rich in friends. The guy standing next to me decked out with an epic is much more valuable than that same gear on an alt and absolutely worth doing twice if one of them were to throw up their hands and quit. Remember that when the pixel greed gets to your brain, or end up like Lite with 10 alts to suck on but no one to drive them... unless you think you can get away with boxing contested raid mobs forever.

Hope to see leadership arise that supports freindly competition and doesn't rush to the forums whining about nazi pill poppers taking all the pixels. Would be amazing to have a guild with people who play a lot but at the same time realize this is just a game. Someone who doesn't throw temper tantrums and disband guilds just because someone wanted to raid and contest with other guilds.

Its sad that this server cant keep a guild like Red Dawn or Fresh up for a long time, because clearly thats a type of laid back environement people enjoy and the server loses some of those cool normal people when this kind of meltdown happens. Wish Red dawn would have really allied with Nihilum a year or 2 ago to completely annihilate Lite like i suggested, so something else could emerge out of the rubble.

I have disbanded the guild tonight. The new alliance has wormed their way into the minds of several of my officers and have eroded the foundation of the guild. They refused to respect the initial terms of the alliance which was that <Fresh> was to remain an independent guild. I founded <Fresh> to keep guilds like Azrael and Empire out of power. Joining these people is turning on everything that I had hoped <Fresh> could provide to the server. It was supposed to be a safe haven for people who wanted to play in a normal environment. The dream you are chasing now is not mine, but that of someone who hates me.


I hope that you will make the right decision and refuse the alliance guild in solidarity with me.

Yeah continue to get shit on because one dude is mad that he got taken off the shot-caller list, and clearly that was a good move by the alliance folk. However people like this will continue to destroy your chances to compete, I recommend griefing him off the server before he poisons your chance of uniting under one banner.

Then why would people with high play time stay in guilds like Fresh? They leave to Azrael. The beauty of an alliance is that its not a merge, its working together for a temporary goal that might extend into permanence if things work out well in the long run. An alliance isnt a dictatorship run by El Presidente.

Its funny that Lite thinks alliance means him calling the shots, and that when red dawn agreed to a simple do not raid with Azrael agreement with Nihilum, so trash geared, cool normal people like Thresh could get their epics (A no-brainer everybody pretty much in the guild agreed with after Heartbrand submitted it for approval), Lite interpreted that as "An alliance to destroy Azrael".
