I eat healthy, don't smoke, and stay skinny no matter what I eat. My advice is to quit being bad at genes and self control.

Eat less. Do more.
It is as simple as that. Smoked for 25 years. Quit cold turkey. Lost 80 lbs. within a year. Because I ate less and did more.

Thanks for all the helpful responses.
Did you guys find that your craving for excessive calories went away after a while? Or is this something im just going to have to get used to controlling? | ||

Something as simple as cutting out sugary drinks, lattes, etc can shave off around 20lbs within a 4 to 6 weeks period without going on a complete diet and exercise program. People don't realize how quickly those empty calories can add up.
Assuming you aren't one of those people ordering fast food or pizza every day. Just eat normal food (be reasonable), stick to water (add crystal light if water is too boring), lose 20 lbs without really trying. It works.

If you drink a glass of water every time you feel a bit of hunger when it is not meal time, and eat a few slices of cucumber, pickle, or celery and do something else for 10 mins you will not be hungry this is how I lost 15 lbs after giving up the vice.

Thats a fair point, if you distract yourself when hungry...after 15-30 minutes it goes away, but oh my dear god are those long minutes.
