A while back some drama occurred that gave us this:

I don't know anything about the database system, but does this mean that this was the 2735th Fungi to drop?
That's probably just the item ID for a fungi in the database.

This is probably correct. On live, the ID is 2036 (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=2036)

I'm assuming their ID's are different because most of the server side stuff had to be remade from scratch.

That's exactly what it is. All Fungi have that ID, regardless of when they dropped.

Probably not that many cause for a good while there the merchants and the guards assisted him lol so unless you killed him fast guards were going to beat on you =p

Another interesting thing would be what items have the fewest instances outside of artifact items?


Ton Po's Bo Stick of Understanding - 1
Shissar Protection Staff (Dropped by mistake from Hoshkar) - 3?
Fanged Skull Stiletto - ?
Mistwalker - 4?
