Well that makes you an idiot, because this server will get shut down if sony gets wind of RMT. The coding passed the copyright infringement date, BUT the fictional license on Everquest lore has no expiration date.

So the one thing you have no problem with is the single greatest threat to this server, and is only thing that can shut Project 1999 down for good.

News flash, RMT happens on this server on a daily basis and Sony doesn't care. As long as the project itself isn't profiting via microtransactions or subscription fees they will continue to not care. There is a long history of this including an 88 million dollar lawsuit won by Blizzard. Notice there are plenty of WoW emus out there, but the one they went after was a for-profit model. No emu of any game ever has been shut down for RMT between players that isn't sanctioned by the server operators that I could find. The staff here could literally look the other way 100% of the time while posting a rule against it and nothing will ever happen.

No RMT happens on any EMU to the lvl it happens on blue and red 1999. You comparing RMT on blizzard who owns the fictional copyright vs Project 1999 who doesn't shows your lake of intelligence.

Are you privy to every RMT transaction on every emulated server of every game in history? No of course not. So stop spouting bullshit that you have no data to back up and pretending its a fact.

I don't know what a "fictional copywrite" is and apparently neither does google. Blizzard sued the one emu out of dozens that happened to be operating in a for-profit model so I really have no idea what you're getting at. Sony has sued PS3 emulator software companies before but eventually ended up BUYING one for their mac client. They have never sued any SWG or EQ servers.

All emus operate in a gray area. As long as you're not using stolen source code, distributing the client, making money off of it or violating in some way the DMCA nobody is coming for you. RMT between players has never been listed as a reason in any of a plethora of lawsuits against emu products in the gaming industry.

You have this habit of speaking for other people all the time. Your guild, your guildmates, and now the server staff. You come off as stubborn and ignorant, and never have any sort of data or references to back up your blathering. You resort to insults almost instantly in any conversation.
