Just get home from work and decide to log in to p99red to grind some levels and do some pvp. Oh look they added exp loss to pvp deaths but its only 3% so it shouldnt be that bad. You find a group or go solo for a bit and run into a twink. You say hello and ask them if they wanna group they decide to kill you and look at that you lose 3% exp but thats not too bad you can get that back in a kill or two. You run back to your corpse go to loot it and that twink kills you again. So you run back and on they way to get your corpse some guy sees you naked running and decides to kill you.

As it is now this happens regularly without exp loss. So a person can just log and do whatever. But you throw in exp loss and this person is more likely to quit and never come back.


Tl;dr I would vote yes but having seen the kinds of people that play here I voted no.

Xp loss was the worst fucking idea ever, im pretty sure the reasoning was to set up some poop camp blue PVE mechanic where a guild can control a zone by inflicting xp dmg to a challenger.

In practice what happened is it solidified unchallengeable zergs like Nihilum and enabled griefers to drain the server of its population for their bitter laughs.

In retrospect they should have maybe let xp loss in pvp in so that griefers could finish the job and given staff an excuse to pull the plug on this griefer infested shithole.

Imagine the welcoming mat when these twinks start getting velious gear dropped on them. Best would have been to wipe the server, start it again with item loot (as an anti-twink, newb friendly measure), custom no drop, and no xp loss but yea not happening because no wipe ever.

Makes me sick to see people like Andis vote yes on this, guy must have a bunch of alts to grief people with, with no chances ever to lose that twink gear to item loot.
