If you call 4 years quickly yeah, every pvp server was hurting pop wise by the time they stopped them. Don't think it had to do with ruleset just sullon zeks domination of enemy team.

Trains killed Sullon Zek.

I trained BP (goods) for a good month straight. There numbers dropped from 70 to 20 during that time.
Damiax the leader of BP at the time begged me to stop training that i was killing off his guild. Well eventually i stopped and there numbers shot straight back up.

Same thing happened to my guild in ToW Speedd trained non stop and people quit.

As much as i love trains it will kill the server.

Yeah bards were fucked up @ that point, they had so many AAs for insane survivability and had an AA that allowed them to dump aggro like Feign Death...

Y'all don't even know what a train is on r99. When Nihilum was on its heels due to the Azrael onslaught, the frustration was too much. One time in Fear, Tune pulled the entire zone and temple on top of us at west wall. He died on top of us in AoN form . Gg I never seen so many toons dirt napped at once.

This was before gm interest and punishment
