i bought minecraft for 5 bucks when it was in alpha. not sure if that counts but pretty good buy considering.

It's a blast man. Sid Meier is one of the best game designers of all time. Civ games plus Pirates Gold...so goog.

I'll be checking this out for sure. Never played AC, so I'm curious how this game will be.
I love me some Civ 5, hundreds of hours logged there. My Civ of choice is always Germany, anytime I try another Civ I just think I'd be enjoying the game more as Germany. And when I hit Panzers, forget it. I'd give a multi player red 99 Beyond Earth game a shot if others were interested.
