Touché. If I ever got BiS Velious gear, that would be interesting to level down as low as possible and level up. Maybe I'll try that on Morrell Thule server.

update:

The following spell types may not be used in this Best of the Best Series: Any form of Fear (Charm is ok if directed at a pet). Any type of Blind spells or spells with a blind component. Gravity Flux or Invert Gravity. Any type of gate or translocation spell (Example: shadow step).

So, I just bought a port and ran over to the arena and there are NPCs outside that say DO NOT ENTER ARENA OR YOU WILL DIE.

What? We're not allowed to actually watch the BOTB? Incredibly not classic.

Learn your EQ history pal. no spectators were allowed at the chanter botb on live either. we told everyone for 2 weeks that spectators wouldnt be allowed.
