Best thing Colgate and Nihi pals could do is let Azrael take broken baby red99 under it's wing and promote multiple non ex-nihi guilds into raid content, that's what I will push for and if we turn into the big bad empire that won't sit well with me personally, and I bet a lot of other people.

But people still need some shit that has been blocked forever - won't take long, then we'll see what happens.

the odds of any upcoming guild not having at least one ex-nihilum person in it is incredibly low

you guys will use that one person as a reason to strong-arm that guild out of the raid scene

you guys have this exact attitude against blaze, which is probably the only guild you're gonna see for a while that might contest other than holocaust because they have drakar and lamort out of 20+ people online at a given time

the absolute best way to fix the server is to get over the fact that nihilum existed and realize that nizzar and the core of that guild aren't around to ruin it anymore; there's no reason to mimic what they did because you guys are that bitter

I don't really find the server all that stale or uninteresting even if Azrael doesn't have to contest over a mob for several months (this is definitely going to be the case, pretty much guaranteed).

There are people on these boards who are very quick to flaunt their ego (the OP is a perfect example) and demonize specifically Holocaust for not allaying their boredom or whatever it is they're battling with (since it's not us).

The reality (and irony of it) is that Nihilum could have very easily reformed into a new guild absent Nizzar with the same 50 people and several new/ competent officers, but, as you all suggested for a long period of time, Nihilum was boring. There was a thread made by me just days before the guild was dissolved, detailing all the shitty aspects of the guild and our contributions to the server in general.

I'm not really sure why Lite is white knighting as though Azrael are like these champions of justice and freedom of choice. His guild contributed very little to the dynamic this server is in now. Literally all he had to do was stay the same while players from Nihilum either regrouped and dominated the server once more or broke away because the server wasn't that fun, despite the loot we all got.

Arrogance is probably one of the worst qualities. Aside from that I think the server is doin' fine. Azrael will probably be the new Nihilum because of sheer numbers with decent playtime and characters with mostly better gear than anyone else currently playing. Not really that concerned with it. They're overly fond of blaming everyone else for no competition (i.e. their own discontent with the server dynamic), but who really gives a shit. We'll all get there when we get there.

Not being faggots in game is far more important than almost all of the things Lite even mentioned in the OP.
