most of the time new players come to red and play usual zones, end up in unrest, get killed then send tells raging which only makes the troll more hungry and tend to constantly pk your crybaby ass.

come play red but go to shitty zones with low zem and hide from all the asshat twinked trolls that are looking to grief naked noobs. It is not that asshat twink trolls fault you are having a bad time.. its your fault for wanting to exp in an area you prefer with high ZEM. If you don't like when people harass and grief you with fungi/Epic'd/VP'd geared de-leveled toons then your a crybaby ass.

that's a special kind of psychopath.

Had the foresight not to play red because:

1. The community

2. The nature of PvP in EQ

Yes the community really is that bad. If you don't think so, you're in a profound state of denial. If you retort: "B-b-b-b-but the community on blue is even worse"... again, you're not listening, you're just angry and closed-minded.

It's like asking "Why don't geriatrics go to Megadeth concerts?" or "Why don't ghetto ass *****z go to golf clubs?"

jest stahp

double post cuz im immersed...

also, we have 'rules" that prevent griefing!! yayy!!!... so when someone backstabs you while you are low hp/mana killing npc's for levels.. you have the option to leave the zone and go somewhere else to exp.. due to the low population its unlikely you will get a port where you are going. but you can spend the next 30min-1hr traveling to the next zone for some exp.

^ people generally want to group more than they want to kill you, unless they are just around for low level pvp. It's always more beneficial to group than it is to kill because even with just a duo you get 130% xp instead of 50%

this is very true..

but the de-leveled twinks are not looking for exp. They already have multiple high lvl toons and are just trying to pass time untill the next weekend full of high end pixels.

having said that... i will say i met some very nice people on red and not everyone is an asshat.

Callin bullshit. When I played on red, I'd get attacked by everyone within level. Usually they were geared far better than I.

I don't blame them either. Teams is critical for a population IMO, especially given classes and pvp in EQ not being terribly balanced.

Best suggestion for RED server EVER!!!

I would say level 46 though, to make all the raid scene PVP.

Obviously exp bonus below this level would have to be on par with BLUE server, but still this could bring a lot of new blood to RED server.

It would also bring tunnel questing to RED with all the good and bad that comes with it, but the best thing about this PVP restriction is new people could actually form their own groups and guilds in peace and have time to prepare themselves for the raid PVP.

There would also be cabs available in RED, and that is something both new and old players would welcome.

Do this and save RED server.

...when did you play? Because this was a recent change that caused grouping to be more beneficial than killing everyone you see, because of the XP change.

It was specifically designed to foster a more group friendly environment, and I've only run into a couple people who are having the experience you had (which used to be the norm, before we changed a bunch of things).
