Hmph, well -- Naturally if I see someone located at a Camp before or after at CC, I'm assuming they're getting there, claiming it or already have claimed it -- Whether or not they're there to respond to that CC doesn't matter if you expect people to actually sit there and stare at their monitor, because I'm sure those that are bitching about others "AFKing during a Camp Check" have also done it before too, for reasons that don't matter.
Just wait it out, if someone is AFK while camping shit, and things spawn, I usually give it a minute until I take the mobs that I am needing for whatever reason, send 'em a tell asking if they are there, whatever... This is what I love about EQ, and I'm happy the bitching and whining and complaining about this person doing this and this camp being taken and didn't respond to my CC as if they have to? Although it's common courtesy, if you really wanna know it's taken, run your sorry ass there to find out. I bet the GMs get tired of dealing with petty petitions that reflect on a situation like this.
