hitbox allows you, the broadcaster, to choose whether or not you have a delay
HTML5 based so bye bye to the bloat of Adobe Flash
less lag in general, website isn't a bloated piece of shit and instead of videos pausing entirely on lag you usually get a little artifact but it's watchable
