I don't think loot has anything to do with it. Neither does it have anything to do with "sabotaging" the class R rotation (well maybe for a select few). Some people just like to play with a different crowd every once in awhile, or in my case, I have a family member who plays super casually in GT so I wanted to level up with him in a new, starter guild. I also have some really close friends in Europa.. and considering the fact I'm on Euro time in Germany, well.... *wink*

I know of not a single TMO/IB person that has an alt in whatever Class-R guild EVER getting a single piece of gear outside of maybe some planes armor. Just isn't what it is about for those that choose to do this.

All the other guilds went through that path before killing trakanon, i don't see what makes them so special.

We were specifically told not to take any loot, ever. The idea is that class R is imposing new rules to qualify and new guilds need help. And for fun I guess.

So guilds that shouldn't be able to down mobs because they don't have the numbers/skill are going to be able to down mobs that should have gone to other guilds who do have the numbers/skill thanks to the help of TMO alts

I think the bigger issue in my opinion in this situation is guilds not feeling welcomed to join in the Class R rotation. Granted, only officers can see the rotation and class R forum. If guilds are not feeling welcomed or there is a communication breakdown of when they will starting being up for mobs, there is a problem.

Honestly, I don't care if class C people are planting alts in class R guilds; I mean they're helping those guilds progress. If members of those guilds don't know someone has a class C character, what difference does it make? They're treated the same as all other class R guild members. Now, if someone was being very obvious about being in Class R and Class C just to gear their class C mains, I would find that to be not so great.

Like I said before, guilds not having adequate information about the rotation/when they are up for mobs, or guilds not feeling welcomed is a bigger issue to me.

Joining a class R guild for the loot is full on retarded. PREEEEETTY SURE I can get faster gear in TMO than Dolj :P
