I get the feeling you may have been pampered your life and had a very comfortable upbringing. since you think if somebody does one thing its all they do
Yeah functional members of society call that a career as opposed to a job.

Kergan,

Turning into a douche-lord on forums. I liked you more as an objective poster.

Just because someone does a trade doesn't make them any less intelligent or capable than someone who is going to college or went to college.

Fuck man how many college student's working at Starbucks?

Having a trade, even one you did in the past is an awesome skill to have and to fall back on if shit hits the fan.

I wish I had been a plumber or electrician before I got into a desk job.

Uh, where exactly did I say that? Being a plumber is a career. Being an electrician is a career. Almost every trade based career rewards those that stick it out through the process until they are a Master XXX. Switching jobs every year to something completely different = not a career. You will accomplish a lot less in your life if you take that approach.

And where did I say anything about college? If you dig through my post history I've said spending money on college was a waste of money, and almost nothing you learn is ultimately valuable to your chosen profession.

Jesus dude, way to put words into my mouth. Please re-read my post and re-read what I quoted/responded to before you judge me.

Maybe it's because I'm an intellectual snob who grew up close to Yale and had many friends whose parents were professors, but there is a clear intelligence gap between college educated individuals and those who are trade school types.

Lots of misunderstanding in this thread. lol

Thought you were piggybacking on what others were saying.

I still hold to my point that your posts are getting worse though. Keep your head above the cesspool.

Also, don't get so mad.

"Intelligence Gap"

I suppose that depends on what you hold as your definition of intelligence. To me, it is the ability to learn things and to understand concepts both in a learning environment and "on the street" so to speak. I know many people with vast amounts of potential that don't know how to run a court trial or transplant a heart, but to me they are still "intelligent'

There were so many fucking retards that I went to college with.... buddy of mine works in a machine shop I grew up with is way more "intelligent" than those people in my eyes.
